Kumamoto city is certified as Fair trade city at 4th Jun. 2011.It's 1000th city in the world and the first in the Asia.Fair trade city is the city that citizen support Fair trade.I have approached Fair trade city with the big dream that we steer fair trade with 1000 cities and towns in the world since 2003.I'm proud to attend the stream at the first in the Asia also I appreciate all of the people related to fair trade.We can start first step with everyone's support and encouragement.Incorporated association Fair trade town is established at a fast pace and certification to accomplish these feeling in Japan.
Seishi Koyama Kumamoto city mayor understood fair trade since he assumed the mayor also he greeted producers.In addition, he attended fashion show twice, we hold.It should be remembered that supported people, executive college students, young people and steering committee members.Thanks to lots of understanding and cooperation, we could aim Kumamoto city as fair trade city, I can't really thank them enough. |
